To be an architect, you need to love creative adventures. You also need to be able to use your left and right brain almost equally. The practice of architecture fans the flames of my artistic/creative side and feeds my analytical/logical mind.
Architects create ideas. Small and big ideas that have the potential to change the way we live; ideas that can change our energy consumption, enhance our quality of life, stimulate our senses, connect us to our family and neighbors, beautify the mundane, and in doing so, change our lives and our future.
I became an architect because it gave me the power to build things the way I think they ought to be; the outcome of those ideas and dreams, whether they are tiny elements of design within a home or the whole structure of a city, are long-lasting concrete accomplishments.
“Be the change you wish to see in the world”
Mahatma Gandhi
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who want change and those who want to be the change. I became an architect to dedicate every little step towards the change I want to bring. I build for sustainability.
